Bradley George
I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Bradley George, and I am asking for your vote to become a board member for Twin Forks Water Association. My journey began in 1973 as a young boy staying in Gregg’s cabin on Oak Glen. My family later purchased a cabin in 16 Springs during the 80’s and then purchased our current residence on N Loop Rd in 1991. I became a permanent community member in 2001 with my father, Jim George and daughter Britanie George. I began working for the Department of Defense in 1987 as I enlisted in the US Navy. I recently retired from Holloman AFB after having an amazing and successful career performing many functions that I feel has provided the necessary background to serve as a water board member. I helped on occasions with the water system before we became an association as a summer homeowner in the 16 Spring addition after becoming a permanent resident in 2000 at my current address in the Twin Forks. In addition my father and I helped locate the many water leaks we had before the current infrastructure was installed. Other civic support includes helping community members with repairs to their homes by repairing stairs, pouring concrete, delivering meals, volunteering at our local Roadrunner Food Bank and helping our residents to cut and split firewood for the winter months. In addition, I provided leadership to our local youth by managing the program and coaching basketball teams within the Cloudcroft Youth Basketball program and even fed our high school athletes in out-of-town excursions for games and tournaments. During my career within the Department of Defense, I served aboard the USS Leftwich DD 984 during Operation Desert Shield/Storm. I worked for the US Air Force as a civil servant for 32 years, supporting our troops in many ways including Goodfellow and AFB Child Development Center, Youth & Teen Center, Community Center, School Age Program, Youth Sports, Community Activity Center. March 2001, I started at Holloman AFB Youth & Teen Center as the School Age Program and Youth Sports Program Coordinator. In 2004 I moved over to the Fitness Center as the Sports Director and eventually moved to the Directors position in 2018. During this time when the Youth Sports Director and Golf Course Directors position where vacant I oversaw those Program on top of my duties at the Fitness Center. I moved over to the Contracting COR position for my last few years, I was responsible for military contracts including inspections, budgetary maintenance and reporting updates directly to commander including squadron support by insuring the budget was within parameters including statement of work on contracts, appropriate spending for contracts, reconciliation of purchases and installation/maintenance of necessary resources through the budget to support the troops of Holloman AFB. For 18 years, I was the only authorized card user with the ability to secure all necessary equipment and resources needed by the squadron. When necessary, I wrote, inspected, maintained delivery and setup of equipment and reported updates to the squadron commander. Utilizing my teacher training by way of the New Mexico Alternative Teacher Licensure, I received the necessary training and licensure making me qualified to instruct and provide further training for all military members and civilian employees to comply with our OSHA and AFOSH Safety Program during my last 2 years of service at Holloman AFB. After a long and successful career with the Department of Defense, I recently retired in 2023 at the age of 57 and am now a full time retiree and have the ability to provide the necessary time to become a member of the water board and skills to help maintain our much needed water system that our community members rely on daily. If elected I will
proudly serve and support our water system through appropriate communication to our members, repair/maintenance of existing water lines and future development of our water
system.
Thank You
Bradley Georg
Robert Kyle
Good Day Neighbors,
Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Robert Kyle and I moved up to Cloudcroft in 2019 to a property that was owned by my family since the 1960s. I am retired, and I have lived here with my wife of fifteen years, Makenna, and my two children, Bobby and Isela, ages five and thirteen, respectively. I am originally from El Paso where Makenna and I ran a small business doing home inspections for the banking industry, we also did property preservation to bring foreclosed properties up to conveyance condition. I heard about the Board member position from Mike and was interested to see if I could in any way be of assistance.
Also I would like the opportunity to meet more of my neighbors, and become a more active member of our community. I would like to thank everyone in advance for their support and consideration in this endeavor, also if anyone has any questions regarding myself or my family, please feel free to reach out, and I will do my best to answer them.
Thank you all,
Sincerely Robert N. Kyle
Peggy Rocha
Just a few short lines to give you an idea of who I am. My name is Peggy Rocha. I am an Army brat who has lived in many places but knew from the moment I first visited Cloudcroft that this was the place I wanted to live as soon as I could make it possible. I settled in El Paso where I married and raised my 3 children. I worked for Sun City Delivery for 10 years in many capacities and helped it grow to the largest delivery/warehousing/customs brokerage company in El Paso. I decided to go off on my own and established MJR Enterprise which was a transportation brokerage and I operated that business for 20 years before handing off to my son. I purchased my cabin in Twin Forks 31 years ago and was fortunate to be able to move here permanently 23 years ago. I have volunteered at our James Canyon Fire Dept. and I am currently volunteering with Roadrunner as I have for the past 7 years. I have seen our water dept. grow and improve from having hoses barely under the ground with more leaks than not to having a good, dependable supply of water for our members. My goal is to tap into the vast knowledge and experience of our members to help continue to make ours the best water company on the mountain.
Thank You,
Peggy Rocha
Jessica Rogers
My name is Jessica Rogers I am a long time resident of the Sacramento Mountains. I have lived here most of my life and my husband and I raised our children here. This mountain and its community is very close to my heart! I own a business here called Growing Possibilities and its main focus is helping property owners with fire protection. My goal if elected to the Board of Directors is to help bring our association community together with better communication and much needed support to not only staffing but our water supply as well. Encourage public funds for construction and improvement of water supply. As well as promote volunteer grant writing.
I would appreciate your vote and look forward to meeting more of our community members!!!
Thank You,
Jessica Rogers
